Designed by David Fox, Elida is an iconic piece that perfectly combines elegance, comfort and ergonomics. Enveloping and fluid forms, together with a sophisticated design of pure and elegant lines, are an invitation to take a seat, relax and unwind.ón 

Seat and backrest

Single shell armchair injected with high density foam and shaped steel internal structure. Seat and back cushions with different hardness and density to improve ergonomics.

Base

Basket design with 10 mm thick rod.

Upholstery

Upholstery with zipperless invisible stitching closure system (similar to automotive). The cushions are attached to the backrest/seat with Velcro® system for easy cleaning.

David Fox

David Fox (1974) is a British designer, winner of several design awards. In 2013 he won the International Design Award with the JORI Bloom armchair.

In 2011 he won The Good Design Award Chicago, in addition to the Red Dot Product Design Award (2011). In 2009, the FX International Award Product Designer of the Year, an award won by some of the best designers in Europe.

In 2002 he opened his design studio and since then has collaborated with some of the most recognized brands in the furniture and seating market. His forms are simple in their aesthetics, promoting balance and refinement, a purist approach that has led him to national and international success.
